Newton Stewart, the home of Holy Socks, sits on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park,
which in 2009 was named the first Dark Sky Park in the UK.
Our socks represent the Northern Hemisphere with The Plough and the
Southern Hemisphere by the Southern Cross, both familiar constellations.
However wonderful the heavens are, God thinks more of people than the whole
of the universe. The figure in the design is from a photo of Jay, our rally mechanic, who died
from cancer just before Christmas.
